Where it all began

I can pinpoint the moment I decided that I was going to draw comics to June 1996 (I was 12), I had just finished reading X Men Unlimited issue eleven. For some inexplicable reason, the image of Magneto on the cover compelled me to embark on a lifetime of compulsive doodling. This developed over time leading me to study animation at university and later embark on a design career. However I never strayed too far from my love of sequential art. The comics included here are a selection of stories that I have undertaken over the years. I am incredibly proud of them, If you wish to see them in more detail please get in touch.

Ourense by Night

Inspired by a new years trip to the city of Ourense in Galicia (Northern Spain) I was welcomed into my partner's family with open arms. Yet as a non-Spanish speaker surrounded by unfamiliar customs. I felt like a fish out of water. Coupled with the uncanny history and superstitions of the region, the idea of ‘Ourense By Night’ was born.

This story is planned as a sixteen-issue arc over 4 chapters that will tell the Story of Adam (A mild-mannered British Wally) and the mysterious Lua, his enigmatic guide to an unfamiliar new world.

Hunting Dawn

After a decade-long war between humans and machines, a pair of grizzled ex-military hunters make a living mopping up the Mechs that got away. This short story introduces us to Red and Captain Bill Kurtz as they bring in a target. It serves as the opening to a longer story.
